The Puget Sound Chapter of �Ӱ���Ƶ’s Employee Community Fund (ECF), one of the nation’s largest employee-owned charitable organizations, contributed more than $2.4 million to 57 nonprofit agencies in Washington state in 2024. The grants, funded entirely by �Ӱ���Ƶ employees, support a wide range of community needs, from food security to youth development and housing assistance.

The latest round of funding, awarded during the winter grant cycle, provided $1.4 million to 29 organizations. These grants will help fund critical projects, including capital improvements, transportation needs, and expanded services for vulnerable populations.

The largest grant of the year—$320,000—was awarded to the Rainier Valley Food Bank (RVFB). This funding will support the renovation and expansion of the food bank’s facilities, ensuring the organization can continue to serve more than 18,500 individuals annually in one of Seattle’s most diverse neighborhoods.

Other 2024 grants supported projects such as:

• A new teen center to provide safe and enriching after-school opportunities
• Building improvements for organizations serving at-risk communities
• New vehicles to help agencies transport clients and donations more effectively
