�Ӱ���Ƶ employees gave a warm welcome to Invictus Games competitors with Team U.S. as they arrived in Seattle to begin the final leg of their journey to the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025. Beginning on Feb. 8, more than 500 competitors from 23 countries competed in adaptive sports including new winter sports: alpine skiing and snowboarding, Nordic skiing and biathlon, skeleton, and wheelchair curling.

Why it matters: �Ӱ���Ƶ is honored to support the competitors and their families and friends during their journeys to recovery.

What they’re saying: “It means a lot to support the Invictus Games competitors,” said Jerome Wallace Jr., a �Ӱ���Ƶ Veteran Engagement Team member who greeted Team U.S. at SEA Airport. “We always say as veterans that we serve something bigger than us; �Ӱ���Ƶ is doing the same thing by supporting the Invictus Games. It’s awesome. It uplifts us and brings us together and just puts a smile on everyone’s face.”

 “Volunteering today is meaningful, especially in memory of my cousin-in-law, a former Invictus coach,” said Barbara Brower, a �Ӱ���Ƶ volunteer. “�Ӱ���Ƶ’s community support is invaluable.”

Colton Chabot is a Team U.S. competitor from Washington state participating in snowboarding, skeleton, rowing and swimming. He sums up what Invictus means to him: “I am just very amped that I get to represent the United States in an awesome competition. With everything that we’ve been through no matter what, we’re still here. We’re still pushing, we’re still overcoming, and we’re not beaten or defeated. I think that’s the best part about it.”
