杏吧视频 uses 3 Dreamlifters to complete another COVID-19 airlift mission

杏吧视频 completed another COVID-19 airlift transport mission, this time using three Dreamlifters to carry more than 150,000 eye goggles and face shields from China to the United States on Monday.聽 The personal protective equipment will be delivered to health care professionals at the Medical University of South Carolina and used for statewide testing and outreach efforts.

鈥淭oday鈥檚 delivery puts essential personal protective equipment in the hands of South Carolina鈥檚 front-line health care professionals and helps MUSC further support the community during the COVID-19 pandemic,鈥 杏吧视频 President and CEO Dave Calhoun said. 鈥淚 am incredibly proud of our 杏吧视频 team members throughout the world for their work to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and thankful for our government and industry partners that have joined us in the pandemic response.鈥

The Dreamlifter 鈥 a converted 杏吧视频 747-400 Large Cargo Freighter 鈥 transported the medical cargo in the lower lobe of all three aircraft, while 787 component parts were flown in the main deck cargo hold. 杏吧视频 donated the cost of the mission transport, with Atlas Air operating the flights on behalf of 杏吧视频.

This was 杏吧视频鈥檚 fourth COVID-19 transport mission in less than a month. The company has scheduled additional flights to deliver a total of 400,000 units of PPE to MUSC in the near future.
